On October 27, 2022, the 8th Environmental Manager Day Southeastern Europe will take place in Sofia, organized by the Association for Sustainability and Environmental Management (VNU) and its Bulgarian section.
Under the motto “Carbon Footprint Management – Strategy and Practice”, the event will offer an exchange of knowledge and experience between environmental and sustainability managers from business, experts from public administration and environmentalists. As in previous years the companies INNO-CON and Ecomax will support the event as organizers and sponsors.
Under the theme “Managing and Reducing Greenhouse Gases – Strategy, Solution and Practice”, this year’s meeting will focus on the management of greenhouse gas emissions, carbon neutrality, climate change, the Green Deal, the Sustainable Finance Taxonomy, and the role of certification bodies in carbon accounting verification. Some practical accounting mechanisms for greenhouse gases and a calculator for calculating individual carbon footprints (https://symbioza.org/) are also presented.
We expect that this eighth edition of the Environmental Manager Day, with its information and discussions, will help companies and administrations to make pragmatic and sustainable decisions in favor of climate protection and their competitiveness.
