A special anniversary brought together not only the friends of Bulgaria in the Berlin Philharmonie. Representatives of Bulgarian associations, companies involved in Bulgaria and representatives of politics were invited to take part in the festive concert on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin.

Cooperation Between Bulgaria and Saxony will continue to develop

The webinar Compliance Management – Avoiding liability risks to top management took place on 24 Sep 2020. The event was held by INNO-CON with the support of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Due to some recent examples of problems occurring relating to legal compliance in well-known international companies in Bulgaria, this topic is currently very delicate.

The Ministry of Environment and Water has halted the notification procedures for transboundary movement of waste under Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 due to multiple legal violations which have been uncovered in Bulgaria in recent months. Such violations were also found in shipments from Germany.

During the difficult times our countries are facing during the COVID-19 crisis, INNO-CON is continuing to provide support to our clients. We are staying up to date with our partners and are engaging with industry and representatives from the German and Bulgarian Federal Economic Ministries and Federal Foreign offices, as well as working with the Eastern European Association and the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to adapt to the dynamic situation.
